| Student Organization of Modern Art (SOMA) presents the Acrylic Pour Painting Show, a show curated by our Austin College students. SOMA is an organization focused on providing a healthy outlet for artistic creation for Austin College students. SOMA hopes to provide opportunities to Art and Non-Art Majors to participate in events that can allow them to explore their creative side through a variety of mediums. The process of making the paintings is encompassed in the following steps: place the acrylic paints in cups and mix with a painting medium, pour the paints on the center of the canvas, and shake the canvas until the paint has covered the canvas. After just three steps, SOMA members were able to organize and create this show for all Austin College students to view.
