Since I started college, I've noticed how many of us do the same thing repeatedly without thinking about it. This led me to examine the relationship between these repeated actions. These maneuvers include taking the same path to class every morning or going to a place of worship every week. Buildings also show the repetition of renovation and advancements in architecture such as my photograph of Moody and the Idea Center. Other actions can be seen as more somber like grieving or experiencing anxiety, which can be seen throughout a few of my photographs. No matter what emotion one may experience, there is always something that we repeat often. By using the technique of double exposure, I'm able to reveal the actions we repeat and show how we leave a mark on the environment around us. Through this technique and study, I make these actions more visible so we can become aware of our habits.
