| Dance Like Opal! By Jacob Ortiz "Dance Like Opal!" is a demo of a song I wrote a few years ago, I'm just now showing it off to demonstrate the beauty behind a rough draft. Along with the demo, is a rough draft for the music video I would love to make for the song. It combines my love for music along with my love for my friendships. Showcased in the binder are photos taken during that trip, accompanied by lyrics for the song. I find something so fascinating in a rough draft. It's so raw and pure, as if you're there while it’s being created. Demos and rough drafts really let you into the creative process of someone's mind as you listen or look, seeing the art in its original and most intimate form. |
