Kim Snipes

This is an introductory course designed for students who do not intend to continue further study in the sciences.  Course topics include emerging pandemic diseases, genetic engineering, evolution of life, and human impacts on the environment.  Students in this course will participate in role-playing discussions and practical exercises in addition to completing extensive writing assignments and traditional examinations.

Powerpoint lecture slideshows can be viewed on the Austin College campus by using a Macintosh computer with Powerpoint 2001.  Find the FACBOX folder on the Alcestis server.  Go into Kim Snipes' folder, then PwPt folder, and then the NS11 folder to find the individual lectures.
