This page contains some lists of useful information for those interested in working on a project involving Plutarch and/or his Life of Cicero. The first section provides a selective list of the books available in Austin College's Abell Library. The second consists of links to other Plutarch and Cicero resource pages on the Web. The third section allows the user to search for information on a variety of Internet search engines. Search for full words or partial words (e.g., Herod or shipwr). Capital and lower case letters are treated equally. There are no accented characters: ceram finds céramique, ceramica, ceramics, etc.
'.' can be used to mean 'any one character': e.g., v.rgil.
'@' or ' and ' between terms means 'find anything with both': roman@myth, huxley@1995.
'#' means space at beginning or end of the term: #Hom.#.
To search for journals, put '>' and '<' around the name: >AC<. For a specific issue, use @ with vol and nr: JFA@22.1. Abbreviations conform to l'Année Philologique (listed in inform.toc).
