Daniel Dominick, music director Sherman Symphony Orchestra

Kidd-Key Auditorium, located in central Sherman, TX, is the new home of the Sherman Symphony Orchestra.  Extensive restoration and renovation undertaken by the City of Sherman with the generous support of Austin College has restored the historical significance of the building and remade it into an exceptional venue for major performances.  Built in 1938 and seating 1340, the beautiful art deco hall has proven to possess amazing acoustics for orchestral performances.
Every seat affords the concertgoer a great view and excellent sound.

Parking at Kidd-Key (405 N. Rusk St.) is street level on Mulberry and Elm, with city parking lots at City Hall a block east of the auditorium on Mulberry.  Handicap parking is available on the south side of the building.

The SSO Christmas Pops concert is located on the Austin College campus in the Sid Richardson Center, a part of the Mason Complex (E. Brockett St. at Porter St.).  Parking is in the lot located to the south of the building and in several other campus lots along Brockett St.

Wynne Chapel, on the Austin College campus, was the primary performance venue for the Sherman Symphony Orchestra from when the orchestra was founded in 1966 until the orchestra moved into its new home in May 2002.  With a large pipe organ and wonderful accoustics, Wynne Chapel is a fine performance venue, seating 800.
