Boyd Scholarship
The Scott H. Boyd, M.D., Memorial Scholarship for
a student with outstanding academic attainment was established in 1993
by Dr. and Mrs. Purcell Smith III, Mr. James V. Culbertson, and friends
and family of Scott H. Boyd.
Criteria for Selection of Recipient
To be awarded to a rising junior who has exhibited
truly outstanding academic attainment during the first two years at Austin
College, with preference for a student majoring in psychology. Must maintain
3.0 cumulative GPA to retain scholarship.
The 2007 recipients of the Boyd Scholarship are Sasha M. Dessy and Sarah G. White.
