The label above was produced using times font (12) on Microsoft Word on a Macintosh and printed on a laser printer (you can use any computer and high quality printer. If you're careful you can get at least two and often three labels on the same sheet (make the top margin narrow). Your labels should be approximately the size of this example.
You will get archival paper from the reserve desk at the library or from George Diggs. Practice before you use the archival paper!
After they're printed, carefully cut the labels apart using a paper cutter (there is one in the Botany lab). They should be cut to leave a small white margin around the printed text. (Note: Do not put a black box around your labels).
