Ruth I. Cape

Dr. Ruth Cape has been teaching at Austin College since 1996.  She completed graduate work in History and Latin at the University of Münster, Germany, and received a M.A. and a Ph.D. in Germanic Languages from UCLA.  Her dissertation was the basis of her first book entitled Das französische Ungewitter.  Besides offering German language and literature courses, she also taught for numerous years elementary and intermediate Latin classes and, more recently, French at Austin College. She is currently Associate Professor of German.
