Ranging in size from trios and quartets to a chamber orchestra,
the Austin College Woodwind, Brass, and String Ensembles provide students
with the opportunity to read, rehearse, and perform chamber music under
the direction of Music Department faculty. Membership in the ensembles
is based on auditions held at the beginning of each academic year and is
open to any student with an instrumental background, with participation recorded
on students' academic records each semester as a non-credit course.

webpage.) On- and off-campus performances for the student ensembles
are scheduled annually, including formal recitals and concerts in Wynne
Chapel and guest appearances at other area schools. Recorded excerpts
