Austin College and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) are pleased to announce our second online flora. Volume 1 of the Illustrated Flora of East Texas is now available online in Adobe pdf format. The entire book, including extensive introductory materials, color photographs, maps, taxonomic keys and descriptions, appendices, glossary, literature cited, and an index are all available online, a total of over 1,600 pages. Our first on-line flora, Shinners & Mahler's Illustrated Flora of North Central Texas, has been available on-line for a number of years.
