The Harvard Project on Cold War Studies.  An excellent site with enormous resources, including documents, recent articles, and much more.

Links Related to Recent Military History

An excellent way to explore World War II  websites is to start with the Open Directory Project and search for World War or World War II.  The resulting search will give you well-chosen sites for most categories, although are not filled out yet.  It is a good way to start.  Open Directory, generically, is www.dmoz.org.  The specific page for the World War II search is:

Scuttlebutt and Small Chow  This outstanding and beautiful website by Bradley Omanson is devoted to the history of the United States Marine Corps, which has had much to do not only with American history but with European history  and indeed world history in many contexts.  The graphics are wonderful, the information is varied and interesting. One visit will probably only whet your appetite.
