Thanks and Credits This project is an experiment in collaboration between an educational institution, private collectors, and businesses. While the site is not for profit and seeks to provide only educational information, it would have been impossible to create without the generosity of private collectors professional numismatists who let us use their coin images and descriptions. Moreover, several people at Austin College helped and encouraged the creation of this site. I would like to express my gratitude to them here. Thanks The project began with a small grant from the Cullen Foundation to build a small teaching collection of Roman coins. Thanks are due to the Cullen Foundation and Dr. David Jordan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Austin College, for their support. I am grateful to Guy Clark for his generous help in assembling the collection and to Teresa Darling for her help with teaching projects and her general kindness. I also wish to acknowledge Matt Sersch and Raymond Davis for their donations to the collection. The Web site itself has been built up over many hundreds of hours which have had to be taken from other projects.
